PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Site Procedure

Prior to the commencement of basement construction the Project Manager will meet with the Client to discuss in detail the procedure which will apply during the construction phase. Site works will benefit from our in-house quality control while ensuring that any inconvenience to the Client and neighbours is kept to an absolute minimum.

Safety

All of our staff receives continuous training in accident prevention and fire safety. We take responsibility for ensuring safety of our clients and our construction team. The safety of our client is of particular importance especially when you may be continuing to live on site while work is in progress.

Insurance

We are fully insured in respect of all Public Liability Risks. Our insurance provides protection not only to our clients but also to neighbouring proprieties and members of general public. All details are available upon request

We strongly believe in the training and retention of high quality individuals, majority of our staff members have been with us for many years.Our trade people possess all of the necessary skills to deliver solutions and finishes of the highest standards within your home and continue to strive to achieve the best outcomes.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

Planning Permission

Building Regulations

We are disposed to prepare and submit to the Local Authority all necessary building regulation applications, answer enquiries raised by Building Control, obtain detailed plans and material specifications to Building Control Officer. All to ensure a positive outcome. During the course of works on site we’ll arrange for all necessary Building Regulation site inspections and at completion of works ensure that a Building Control Certificate is obtained and provided to you.

Structural Engineer

We can prepare and submit for you a full set of structural engineering calculations and associated designs to obtain an approval from Local Authorities.

Party Wall

When required we can prepare the party wall notices on your behalf. Assuming that Party Wall Surveyor involvement is requested our team will be happy to recommend one of our selected surveyors and ensure that all requirements of agreement and documentation are fulfield.

QUOTATION & DESIGN

Consultation

When required we are disposed to prepare the party wall notices on your behalf. Assuming that Party Wall Surveyor involvement is requested our team will be happy to recommend one of our Chartered Surveyors and ensure that all requirements of agreement and documentation are full field.

Design

We can work with an architect of your choice or we can recommend and put you in touch with our recommended design specialists and engineers.

Quotation
